Why goat's milk soap?
Oh wow, ok I could go on and on about the magic of goat's milk soap but I know you're a busy person so I'm going to bring it down to a few bullet points for you:
- It is SO much gentler on your skin than commercial soaps
- It cleanses your skin without stripping it of natural oils that keep your skin hydrated
- Goat's milk soap is rich in fatty acids which helps keep our skin moisturized.
Does goat milk soap smells funky like goat's milk cheese smells?
Not in the slightest! Fresh goat's milk is actually really similar to cow's milk in taste and texture. That goaty funk taste and smell in goat's milk comes from older milk or milk that was mishandled during the production process.
How many goats do you need to run a soap business?
I guess that depends on how big your soap business is but right now we have very prolific goatie girl who provides all of our milk. Her name is Clarice and she's a 3 year old Mini Nubian.
Where is this made?
On a little farm in Snohomish, Washington.
Are there any harsh chemicals or cleansers in your soap?
Nope! All of our fragrances and colorants are tested and formulated for use in cold process soaps and are free of the typical harsh chemicals you would normally find in commercial soaps. If you are ever curious about exactly what goes into our soaps... all of our soaps are made some combination of with raw goat's milk, sodium hydroxide, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, fragrance oil, and sometimes a colorant. When will my order ship?
Ready to ship orders will be sent within 1-3 business days. You will receive an email with tracking info as soon as your order ships! Pre-order items are a little different and will give an estimated ship by date on the product listing.
